About

CV

I have an advanced knowledge of finite element simulations using ABAQUS. While doing so, I was exposed to Python for data extraction, batch simulation automation and applications of AI-ML framework. Please check out my GitHub profile for proof. Further, I have completed the data science course certificates by John-Hopkins University from Coursera.

Competencies

  • ABAQUS
  • Python
  • Simulations
  • data analysis

Research

My research interests are railway engineering and transportation geotechnics. However, I will be flexible in other closely related engineering objectives such as constitutive modeling and experimental design.

The focus of my research has been finite element simulations using ABAQUS of moving loads on the rail track. However, I have worked on several consultancies related to slope stability analysis as well as geotechnical remodeling of waterways for increased capacity. I have also designed courses as a part of the faculty development program in various institutions in India.

I have a strong background in python for data extraction and analysis from ABAQUS, including automation of simulations. I have used PBS-based high-performance computing for my research as well, which was provided by IIT Delhi. I have used different Fortran subroutines with ABAQUS, and I possess the foundational knowledge of creating material models using this knowledge. I am currently working in the industry as a geotechnical design engineer at Amberg Engineering AG. Thus, I am gaining constant expertise in both academics and industry.
