About

Peter Damilare Oyinloye is a Postdoctoral Fellow in the Information Systems and Software Engineering (ISSE) at the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU). Before joining NTNU, he was a lecturer in the Computer Science Department, Kwara State University,Malete, Nigeria. He obtained his PhD in Computer Science from the Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM)  in 2022 with the supervison of Dr. Je Sen Teh.

Peter's research spans across Blockchain Technology, Information Security and Cryptography. He has examined the Performance, Environmental Impact and Security of Blockchain Consensus Protocols. Currently, Peters' research is centered around the coordination, interoperability and security of  independent blockchain systems and critical infrastructures such as supply chain and energy distribution systems with the supervision of Prof. Jingyue Li.

He is a member of IEEE, ACM, British Computer Society (BCS), Computer Professional Council of Nigeria (CPN), Internet Society, African Blockchain Council,  Malaysia Blockchain Society.

He serves as a technical program committee member for the Blockchain and Internet of Things Conference (BIOTC) 2024, Fukuoka, Japan. Currently a member of the technical program committee of Cyber Science 2024 conference in Edinburgh, Scotland.
