I am a Naval Architect and Ocean Engineer specializing in the field of nuclear engineering. With a strong background in computational fluid dynamics (CFD) and extensive knowledge of nuclear power plant dynamics, I am dedicated to contributing my skills and expertise to the advancement of nuclear energy technology.
I hold a Master of Science degree in Naval Architecture and Ocean Engineering from the University of São Paulo, where my research focused on CFD investigations of the flow around low aspect ratio vertical cylinders. I developed a keen interest in the nuclear industry and its unique challenges during my studies. I also completed my Bachelor's in Naval Architecture from the Federal University of Santa Catarina, which provided a solid foundation in engineering principles and concepts of naval architecture.
Throughout my career, I have actively pursued projects in the nuclear domain. Currently, I am working at AMAZUL, where I am involved in thermal-hydraulic simulations of severe accidents in nuclear power plants using advanced tools such as OpenFOAM and Ansys-Fluent. This work plays a critical role in ensuring the safety and reliability of nuclear power plants.
In addition to my technical expertise, I have gained valuable experience in the license renewal application process for the first Brazilian Nuclear Power Plant, Angra 1, during my tenure at ELETROBRAS. This experience has given me valuable insights into the nuclear sector's complex and highly regulated nature.
I am fluent in Portuguese and English, enabling effective communication with international teams and clients. I am passionate about leveraging my skills and knowledge to contribute to the advancement of nuclear energy, and I am always seeking new opportunities to collaborate on challenging nuclear projects.
I would be delighted to connect with you if you are looking for a dedicated professional with expertise in nuclear engineering, computational fluid dynamics, and naval architecture. Let's explore how we can work together to drive innovation and excellence in the nuclear industry.
