Muluken Shibru Zeberga
About
Construction projects are prone to frequent, severe contractual frictions. I like the word "friction" to express the wide range of disagreements brought about between contractual parties for various causes, ranging from low friction (i.e., conflict) that can develop into a claim and then into high friction (i.e., disputes) that require profound resolution techniques. Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) techniques or expensive and time-consuming litigation have historically been used to settle construction disputes. During my Ph.D. study, I will investigate and discuss best-fit digital lubricants that can reduce the effects of friction in project-based construction organizations with the help and advice of my supervisors.
