Mohamed Hassan is a PhD candidate at the Department of Electric Energy. He has a B.Sc., and a M.Sc. degrees in Electrical Power Engineering from the Faculty of Engineering at Shoubra, Benha University, Cairo, Egypt. Currently, he belongs to the research group for High Voltage Technology (HVT).

His research interests include High Voltage Engineering, Power Transformers, Electrical Insulation, Liquid Insulation, Fault Diagnosis, Condition Monitoring, and Optical Spectroscopy.
