About
Background
I am currently Associate Professor of English didactics in the Department of Teacher Education (ILU), where I teach courses related to language proficiency, teacher education and research methods in the English and Foreign Languages section.
I worked as a teacher of English at state schools in Turkey. I began my academic year at Canakkale Onsekiz Mart University where I took different academic positions such as research assistant, assistant professor and associate professor from 2006 to 2022. I hold an Ed.D in TESOL from University of Exeter and an M.A in English Language Teaching from Canakkale Onsekiz Mart University. I joined NTNU in July 2022.
I am the founder of L-LATER research group: a research-oriented group to establish collaborative dialogues between national and international researchers who are interested in factors that are likely to influence language learning and teaching processes.
