Marte Kee Arntsen
About
I am currently doing an Industrial PhD for Resman at the Department of Chemical Engineering at NTNU. My focus is to synthesize homogeneous and reproducible polymer systems which are able to quantify water in the wellbore. The work involves characterization and optimization of the polymers with use of instruments such as NMR, FTIR and Raman Spectroscopy. The thermal analysis DSC and TGA will also be important for characterization. The project is carried out under Sulalit Bandyopadhyay at NTNU.
The supervisor at NTNU was my co-supervisor during my Master's thesis, while Wihelm Glomm from Sintef was my main supervisor. The thesis was performed at the same department and involved hydrogels and tuning their properties to load and release drugs. After my Master's I started to work for Resman. I worked seven years designing polymer systems embedded with tracers tailored for the different wells. Having hands-on experience, I hope to provide valuble R&D work for the company.
