About

My research is focused on the experimental investigation of wake behaviours of various objects subjected to the influence of different incoming turbulent flows. The objects that I'm interested in range from simple shapes such as a sphere or a cube, to more complicated real-world applications such as wind turbines and airfoils. We control the incoming turbulence through an active grid in a water channel facility, and the diagnostic tools we use include constant temperature annemometry (CTA), laser Doppler anemometry (LDA), and particle image velocimetry (PIV).
