I am employed as a ombudsman for the students at NTNU. As a ombudsman, i try to ensure that the university treats the students' equal and that students rights are handled acording to law, and that the university give the students a correct and proper treatment of their case. I can give the students advice on what they can and/or should do to their own best interests.

For example, students can contact me about critical circumstances such as breach of law, bullying, harassment and security violation et cetera. The circumstances may envolve fellow students, employees, or the university it`self. Students can notify anonymously. I deal with the matter discreetly and confidently.

I have a law degree from the University of Oslo, where I have a Master of Law studies. I have several years of work experience in public administration; I have worked as a counselor / senior advisor to the county governor in Trøndelag at the education department. .

I have also worked as a lawyer at a law firm in Trondheim before i began as a studentombuds at NTNU.
