Jiaxin Pan
About
Jiaxin Pan is an associate professor (førsteamanuensis) at the Department of Mathematical Sciences. He bleongs to the Algebra Group. He obtained his PhD from Ruhr-Universität Bochum (Germany) and after that he was a postdoc at Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (Germany).
(Starting October, I will be on leave and become a Professor at the University of Kassel, Germany. Grateful for the past productive years at NTNU. Homepage here may not get updated that often.)
Research Interests
Pan is interested in (public-key) cryptography, in particular, cryptographic systems with mathematically sound proofs. More specifically, he is interested in:
- Identity-based (or, more general, attribute-based) encryption schemes
- (Non-interactive) zero-knowledge proof systems
- (Structure-preserving) signature schemes
- Tight security reductions
- More general topics (in cryptography) that he is fascinated by
