Jenny Frogner
Om
My PhD project explores the everyday lives of persons with intellectual disabilities in Norway. Through ethnographic fieldwork, I study relations of care adults with intellectual disabilities are part of, in various contexts in their daily lives.
I have an MA in Social Anthropology from the University of Oslo and a BA with a Major in Anthropology and Minor in Biological Sciences from the University of Alberta. I have also studied French language and literature at the University of Oslo.
Prior to becoming a PhD Fellow, I worked as a Milieu Therapist at Signo Conrad Svendsen senter in Oslo, Higher Executive Officer at the Regional Committees for Medical and Health Research Ethics, and as a Project Coordinator at The Norwegian Association of the Blind and Partially Sighted.
