My main research topics include the study of bubble and foam behavior at the microscopic level, thanks to microfluidics. Several related fundamental questions about the behavior of such systems can be addressed with the key characteristics of microfluidics: monodisperse, well-controlled generation frequency and size for bubbles.
Sub-topics of interest include:
- Behavior of coated-bubbles
- Topological rearrangements of foams / crystal-like bubble assemblies
- Interaction between bubble/foam with acoustic waves
- Bubble-enhanced catalytic activity
