About

Ingrid Okkenhaug is a PhD candidate in sociology at the Department of Sociology and Political Science (ISS). Her project examines barriers, facilitators, and motivation for participation in physical activity among autistic adolescents.

Ingrid is also affiliated with the research group "Skill and Performance Development in Sports and School" (ISS).

She completed her master's degree in Sports Science at ISS in June 2018. Her study focused on participation in physical activity throughout life and how this affects physical activity in older age.
