My areas of responsibility as a Controller at ISM
Following up and strive to excert control over the institutes economy (RD and RSO) is the main responsibility, including the HUNT research center, in cooperation with the local projecteconomists.
Executing needed tasks and/or provide insight for the personell at ISM in economic relations including invoicing, following up internal project economies or other funds accessible.
Work tightly with the office manager and advice the management regarding the economy.
Report to the faculty monthly regarding the expected years result and perform the yearly budgeting in the Bevisst Budsjettoppfølgning module.
Coordinate the relevant parties, amongst them the study- and researchadministration in order to deliver the required input from ISM into the VFM simuleringsmodell, a tool for calculating and predicting future production, and therefore income, for the whole of NTNU.
Follow up and report on the institutes planned investments.
Advice, budget and follow up on our EVU-projects.
Cooperate with the local HR to keep the personell planning tool, Bevisst Bemanningsplan (BBP), updated.
Background
Completed my masters in Economic Analysis at the University of Stavanger in 2016.
Worked as a Controller at Overhalla municipality from August 2016 to October 2018.
I arrived at NTNU as a temporary Controller at the IV-Faculty October 2018.
August 2018 I started my current permanent position as the Controller at ISM.
