Farshad is a dedicated automation engineer with expertise in control engineering and optimization, particularly in power systems applications. He earned his PhD through a dual program at Sharif University of Technology (Iran) and The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (Hong Kong) . Following his PhD, he worked at the Institute of Data Science at the University of Hong Kong, focusing on computational optimal transport and large-scale linear programming.
He is now part of the MARIT lab, working on the FLEXSHIP project under the supervision of Mehdi Zadeh.
