Fan Gao
About
I am a Ph.D. candidate in the Department of Marine Technology, NTNU. My Ph.D. project is a part of the SEAOPS (Safe Energy-efficient Autonomous Operation of Ships) project working with integration of the ship propulsion and navigation systems.
I work with optimization and control of hybrid ship propulsion systems. The main research topic includes:
- Design and optimization of hybrid combinator surface.
- System modeling and controller design for hybrid ship propulsion system.
- Efficiency evaluation and analysis of combinator surface-guided ship propulsion.
