Research Topic:
Modelling of the Hydrodynamics of Propulsion in Astern Waves.
One of the main goals is to develop a reduced-fidelity, time domain numerical simulation model for vessels operating in following sea, including irregular seas, wind dynamics, and autopilot control algorithms, which can be used as a tool to investigate the intrinsic hydrodynamics of vessels operating in following sea states.
