About
Reserach Topic: Experimental study of low-carbon fuel injection and combustion in marine engines. Ignition promotion for high pressure liquid ammonia and methanol injections.
Research Group: Combustion Kinetics Group
Main Supervisor: Associate Professor David Emberson
Co-Supervisor: Professor Eilif Pedersen
Previous Education
M.Sc Automotive Engineering - Production and Development, Technische Universität Ilmenau, Germany
-Thesis on transient emission prediction with hybrid-databased models in cooperation with IAV GmbH
Ba.Sc Automotive Engineering - Production and Development, Technische Universität Ilmenau, Germany
-Thesis on an experimantal parameterstudy of a flex-fuel sensor with engine fluids in cooperation with IAV GmbH
Research
My research will cover the behavior of future marine fuels during injection in internal combustion engines. A pressure chamber test rig will help me to learn about their spray patterns and the mixing behavior with air. This will also enable the validation of CFD simulations.
