About
PhD candidate in the Functional Materials and Materials Chemistry research group (FACET) at the Department of Materials Science and Engineering, NTNU. His research involves fabrication of oxide/van der Waals heterostructures by pulsed laser deposition, and investigating magnetic properties of the system. The work is supervised by Assoc. Prof. Ingrid Hallsteinsen and Prof. Dennis Meier.
Damian obtained his master's degree in Nanotechnology from the Gdańsk University of Technology. His master's project focuses on optimizing the synthesis, and characterizing the physical properties of nickel-based Heusler compounds containing lithium.
