I have a MSc in Industrial Chemistry and Biotechnology from NTNU, and is now pursuing a PhD in molecular medicine as a part of the group led by Dr. Toril Holien. The group focuses on TGF-ß signaling in multiple myeloma, especially the apoptotic effects of bone morphogenetic proteins (BMPs) and actvins. My research mainly focuses on the role of the receptor ALK2 in BMP-mediated apoptosis.
