PhD student at the Department of Neuromedicine and Movement Science (INB), and a part of the Norwegian Centre for Headache Research (NorHead) and St. Olav's University Hospital. In our study, we investigate cortical hyperexcitability in primary headache disorders: Chronic migraine and chronic cluster headache or "suicide headache" with MR spectroscopy using an ultrahigh-field 7T MR scanner.

Previously worked as a research associate at NorHead and K.G. Jebsen Centre for Alzheimer’s Disease (JCA) on 1H MRS, 31P MRS, and CEST imaging scan protocol, optimization, and piloting in patient groups for chronic cluster headache (thalamus and hypothalamus); transient global amnesia (TGA; medial temporal lobe) and characterization of macromolecular changes linked to aging and Alzheimer’s disease (Hippocampus).
