Andreas Kleiven
About
I am a PhD student under supervision of Stein-Erik Fleten (main supervisor), Magnus Korpås, Eivind Solvang, and Selvaprabu Nadarajah. My PhD is involved in HydroCen, which is Norwegian recearch center for hydropower technology. The main objective of the PhD is to develop models and methods in the area of optimization and investment evaluation of hydropower plants, and to impart knowledge about cost-effective, and sustainable refurbishments. My research interests include stochastic modelling, investment under uncertanty (real options), and methods for solving large-scale dynamic planning problems.
