Amar Jaiswal
About
Amar Jaiswal was born in Ayodhya, Uttar Pradesh, India.
He received the B.E. degree in medical electronics from Visvesvaraya Technological University (VTU), India, in 2007, and the M.S. degree in medical software from Manipal University, India, in 2009. He is currently pursuing the Ph.D. degree in computer science with the Data and Artificial Intelligence (DART) Group, Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU), Trondheim, Norway.
From 2008 to 2011, he was a Software Engineer with the Positron Emission Tomography (PET) and Computerized Tomography (CT) Divisions, General Electric (GE) Healthcare, Bengaluru, India. From 2011 to 2014, he was with the X-Ray and Mammography Division, Philips Healthcare, Bengaluru. From 2014 to 2017, he was involved in the development of telemedicine and remote consultation solutions with Ricoh Healthcare, Bengaluru. Lately, from 2021 to 2023, he was with Norwegian Centre for E-health Research, Tromsø, Norway. From 2024, he is involved as director in establishing an Agro-Food Processing factory incorporated as Avadh Premium International LLP in rural Ayodhya, UP, India.
His primary research interests include case-based reasoning, artificial intelligence for medical applications, and agro-food processing.
