PPRP Intervention - Continuing professional development
PPRP Intervention Course
PPRP Intervention Course
The Perceive, Recall, Plan & Perform Intervention is designed for use by occupational therapists who have completed a PRPP Assessment course.
The intervention approach aims to improve task performance mastery by addressing the specific cognitive strategy application behaviors identified through PRPP assessment as most impacting on mastery. Instructional methods used to address these behaviors incorporate cues and prompts that align with specific perceive, recall, plan and perform processing operations and preferences. The efficacy of this approach has been observed in children and adults with a variety of diagnoses and conditions that impact on everyday cognition, and demonstrated through research with adults with traumatic brain impairment and children with social and behavioral difficulties.

At the end of this course, participants will be able to:
- Compare and contrast PRPP Intervention with other forms of occupational therapy task- focused methods
