Alexey A. Shadrin
Shadrin is a researcher in precision psychiatry group at Norwegian Centre for Mental Disorders Research (NORMENT) and the K.G Jebsen Center for Neurodevelopemental disorders. His work is centered around development and implementation of statistical and machine learning algorithms aimed to dissect the genetic architecture of complex human diseases and ultimately to improve prediction of disease trajectories and treatment response. The work relies both on large-scale genetic data from international consortia and in-depth characterized in-house samples. He also actively participate in several medical genetics studies conducted at the Centre, carrying out data management and statistical analysis.
