The Algorithms, HPC and Systems research group is a diverse group, but with a common goal to develop efficient methods and techniques to increase the performance of algorithms, applications and system software. This common goal impacts both computer science in the new techniques we develop to move the field forward, but also the applied use cases that these techniques often are used for. Within the domain of algorithms, we focus on resolving various abstractions of real-world problems driven by practical applications. In the realm of HPC, we apply these innovative techniques to upscale applications, harnessing the potential of emerging computing systems.
