Vijeta Sharma
About
Vijeta Sharma is an Artificial Intelligence scientist with a strong14+ years of R&D experience in the industry. She completed her master's degree from Birla Institute of Science and Technology, India in Data science and PhD in Artificial Intelligence from Banaras Hindu University (BHU), India. Her research area includes Artificial Intelligence, Computer vision-image & video processing, Human Action Recognition, Deep Learning, Large Vision Model (LVM), Robotics and High-Performance Computing (HPC). She has worked on several projects of Govt. of India, including the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology, for India's PARAM series of supercomputers under the National Supercomputing Mission, India. She is actively involved in the supervision of master students' dissertations. She has received India's prestigious research award, ASWAR-2020, for her novel contribution to research. She has a keen interest in "AI in Education", where her Ph.D. work belongs. She is associated with the Educational Technology laboratory to lead the research activities and collaborative projects.
