About
Background:
I hold a doctorate degree in Materials Science with a specialization in finite element modeling and numerical simulations in University of Oslo/SINTEF. My primary research focus has been on the solidification process of aluminum alloys and the challenges associated with severe defects such as hot tearing and macro-segregation in DC casting.
Research Interests:
My core area of interest lies in the sustainable handling and forming of aluminum, with a particular emphasis on its recycling and reusability—cornerstones in the domain of circular manufacturing. My research fascilate to address how finite element methods can be applied to optimize the lifecycle of aluminum products, thereby minimizing waste and environmental impact. I am also interested in the development of processes that enable the efficient use and recirculation of aluminum, striking a balance between functionality, cost-effectiveness, and sustainability.
