Savis Gohari
About
Savis Gohari's journey led her from Iran to Norway, where she pursued a master's degree in Urban Ecological Planning at NTNU. Her master's thesis focused on integrating international students through public spaces in Trondheim, sparking a dynamic collaboration with Trondheim Municipality. She continued her academic journey with a PhD in the Governance of Sustainable Development, particularly examining NTNU's co-location of campuses within the Campus Project. Her groundbreaking PhD research earned recognition at Forsker Grand Prix and praise from NTNU's Rector.
Throughout her academic journey, Savis realized the pivotal role that individuals, their belief systems, and their behaviors play in sustainable development. Recognizing that collective intentions must translate into individual perceptions, values, and decisions, she shifted her research interests towards change processes. This shift led her to delve into human and behavioral sciences, psychology, and the neuro system, aiming to bridge the gap between knowledge and action.
Savis's exploration of personal development, communication, neuro-linguistic programming, and effective leadership culminated in her becoming a certified coach. Armed with both technical expertise in collaborative governance and practical experience, she stands as a uniquely qualified facilitator in co-creation and collaborative governance networks. Savis's aspiration extends beyond academia; she is committed to imparting her knowledge to students, cultivating more facilitators, and extending her coaching and educational services beyond classrooms and institutions
