I am Associate Professor in Political Science (political behavior) at the Department of Sociology and Political Science at NTNU. I hold a PhD in Economics from the University of Lucerne in Switzerland.
My research seeks to understand how political institutions and technological innovations affect voters' attitudes and behavior in elections and referendums. I analyze how detailed information about the candidates and reducing the costs of voting affects voting behavior and, thus, electoral outcomes.
