Om

Victorien Prot is an Associate Professor at the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU) in the Department of Structural Engineering . His research primarily focuses on cardiovascular biomechanics, computational biomechanics, the mechanics of the mitral valve, and responsive hydrogels. He has contributed significantly to the field through various publications on topics such as finite element modeling and constitutive modeling of fibrous tissues and soft materials.

Victorien Prot teaches various courses at NTNU, including Mechanics, Dynamics, Continuum Mechanics, Non-linear Finite Element Analysis, and Biomechanics.
