About

About

I am a health economist and researcher. I work with industry partners to ideate strategies that meet economic and work environment requirements to build sustainable business case for the development of interventions, implementation, and their evaluation.

In 2017, I successfully defended my doctoral thesis at Karolinska Institutet. Following that, I did postdoctoral research at both Karolinska Institutet in Solna and the University of Gävle in Gävle.

In my research, I combine research areas such as psychosocial work environment, health economic evaluations, and health outcome assessments to better understand what factors influence health-related outcomes, work performance, and overall productivity in different occupational groups in both private and public organizations.

Research

My research focuses on the psychosocial work environment, health economic evaluations, and outcome assessments, with a particular emphasis on the intersection of these three areas in work and organizational psychology. Work environment economics research that I conduct entails using health economic frameworks to evaluate occupational health interventions to promote healthy workplaces and determining what pecuniary and nonpecuniary factors influence health-related outcomes, work performance, and overall productivity in different occupational groups in private and public organizations.

RETAIN - Retention Evaluation - Teacher Attrition and Incentives in Norway

Previous research examine work-related factors influencing teacher turnover but have gaps on the relative importance of factors and trade-offs teachers make to stay in the profession. RETAIN aims to deepen understanding of retention decisions of teachers.
